    What more could you want, a river, a barbecue, a kid's playgound, tennis and netball court, Tassie's MTB obsessives in tents and campers, a quick ride to coffee, and the world's greatest mountain biking.

    Nice campground by the river. Close to shops and tracks. Amenities: toilets, bbq's, tennis, netball and basketball courts.

    I love Derby. This quiet camping spot beside the river is ideal. Amenities are basic but clean. Highly recommended for the self sufficient traveler.

    Free camp on the river. Free electric bbq, toilets. Coin operated showers further along at the mbt trailhead.

    Quiet and nice place to stay for a nigjt in a tent for free. Clean toilets, ground os level enough. The road wasn't too noisy either.
