Musty sheets, a tiny room and a shared living area (even down to the kettle). However a beautiful property with very cute farm cats and chickens. The town is lovely too!

Located at the main A3 road, easy to find. The host was kind and helpful, waited for us until late to check-in. A variety of food to choose from for breakfast. A heater and a heating blanket were provided. The room is aged but reasonally clean. A very home-feeling stay.

Lovely historical building. Great reception from the host. Wish I could have stayed another night. Would love to come back for a quiet weekend with a good book.

Very cosy place to stopover. We booked both rooms so had the whole place to ourselves. Otherwise the lounge room would be communal. Bathroom was very clean. It was a bit dim though as the rooms had no ceiling light; there was only a bedside lamp, partial light from the ensuite and the window. During the night, there was a few noises from the outside (couldn't work out whether it was the water system or the birds). But after awhile, it became white noise to me. Breakfast included was cereal, slices of bread and an orange.

The best nights sleep I have had in Tasmania by far. The accommodation is on the inside of an old chapel which has a really warm and cosy feel to it. It was a little bit dim at night time, but this just contributed to the feel of the place, just don't try and read a book. There are some birds that are living in the guttering which were a bit noisy at dusk but you get used to them and they turned out to be a nice alarm clock in the morning (in addition to the resident rooster). Just don't try and drive up what seems to be the driveway - it isn't and it is easier to just park on the street :).
